I use Firefox as my main browser and as anyone I need a quick way to find webpages. Long ago, I used to have altavista, yahoo or google as homepage. So every time I launched my browser or open a tab, I could type in my search. BUT now I mainly use the Firefox address bar as search engine. And I mean the address bar not the search bar ! Why so ? I’m talking with Sébastien about MDA, in some way his actual fantasy. But this one seems to last…long enough to be more than interesting. So I looked up a bit what is this Model Driven Architecture thing. So after reading the wikipedia page, I followed his advice and run through the documentation of his favourite tool: AndroMDA. This AndroMDA introduction is quite effective to give you a global overview of how MDA can help you as a developer to save “impossible” projects or even to save the World !

I was listening to “L’atelier numérique” (cfr http://www.atelier.fr/) on BFM radio. It was talking about Enterprise 2.0.

As I never heard this buzz word before, I tried to find some information. Here are a couple of links:

• Intalio – one of the guest company of the radio talk
• IT|Redux – a blog about BPM 2.0 and Office 2.0
• Wikipedia pages: BPM, Entrepise 2.0, BPEL, BPMN
• enterprise2conf.com – what is Enterprise 2.0

I don’t know why all has to be some 2.0 version…maybe to get attention. I only hope we will not end it the same way we did last time with the dot-com bubble back in 2001.

Anyway, this Enterprise 2.0 is still unclear in my head, so I’d appreciate any comments…
